Dr. Phinney's lecturing is focused on the integration process of faith and worldview. His goal is to have the matriculated student (listener) become more established and pronounced in their Christian faith and become acutely aware of the “vain and deceitful philosophies” believers are faced with today.
He desires for each presentation to be practical. He is a visual teacher for the sole purpose of assisting the listener in their learning experience - meaning, all his presentations come with a PowerPoint package that can be used in later refresher opportunities.
His messages are all Bible-centered. His style is inviting to all who are interested in learning about the topic being presented. Each attendee will gain personal help, as well as further oneself in the equipping process of being a minister of the gospel.
His love is focused on teaching the body of Christ - small groups, community events, church services and retreat settings. It needs to be noted that he has experience in speaking before such place as the White House, every branch of the judicial government, the Parliament of Uganda, government committees and community groups.
